I ordered a Flammenkuche (Hirte), I recommend the big size which was the perfect amount for me. My overall experience was good: I gave 4 stairs for the dough which was thin and tasty. The 1st floor has heater and cute decorations. However I think it is a little bit overpriced for Germany.

We were told you had to go there, which we did. Unfortunately very disappointed. The only thing we really liked was the ambience. Food ok but nothing special. We would have liked to have had one or the other drink, but nobody came where we could order. Then, finally, the bill. We told them twice and were always put off that someone was coming. After 45 minutes we got up and went out. Past the counter. Then finally they noticed and came to us outside. We have never seen anything like it. We go out to eat every day on vacation but definitely not anymore. A pity

The restaurant and especially the toilets are not particularly clean. the staff was sometimes very nice, but didn't speak German. Distance was sometimes not kept. Prices are okay but it's just finished food that is served. You can not respond to requests while eating. The federweiser was delicious. Looks more like a thing for tourists .. a shame that we fell for it.

Too expensive for what you get. Operation passable. But the staff already knows the quality of the food and therefore they are not asked whether you liked it. The red wine sauce tastes like everything, but just not like red wine and the schnitzel is probably frozen. All other dishes and ingredients are also ready-made.

Drank a bottle of dry wine for two for € 10. Okay. Yes, as everyone says, the staff is unfortunately a bit chaotic. But we were treated kindly. I can't judge food. Pretty quaint downstairs in a seating area.

Very nice place. Food tasted quite good, but there was not enough sauce for the Jägerschnitzel and not even a scrap of salad. No salt and pepper shakers on the table. No card payment possible.

The tarte flambée were tasty but priced quite high. The service was quite modest. A 0.4l beer costs 4.90. Overall more for tourists.

If there was an option of leaving 0 stars - I would!!! The worst customer service I have seen in a while. The only reason our group ended up at this place was because all restaurants were closed on 4 p.m leaving only this one as an option. The waiters are extremely rude and disregard their customers. They're also not happy to receive any feedback when the food is not ok. DO NOT order a schnitzel in red wine sause. It's not a sause, but disgusting purple gravy that reeks of alcohol. You are better off to get a sandwich in a corner shop nearby than go here, so please be careful :)

Rather impersonal mass processing aimed at tourists. Had to wait more than half an hour for my drink. The food, in my case a veal Wiener Schnitzel, was below average. There are definitely better restaurants in Cochem.

The ambience appealed to us very much, which is why we opted for the old wine economy. It was during the week, but very well filled, which is why we had to sit in the vine arbor at the top. It was really quite dusty there and unfortunately very dirty. There were broken glass everywhere on the floor and rusted bottle caps. The "bar" was overflowing with odds and ends and some "deco" When we arrived we were quickly brought the menu and asked if we would like something to drink. We decided to take a look. After that, nothing happened for 20 minutes. Service employees often came running upstairs, but they didn't look up or it was said that they couldn't take orders and the colleague would come. I myself come from the catering industry and know the process that not everyone has devices for boning, but then you tell your colleagues at least, or quickly write it on a piece of paper and pass it on. On the way to the toilet, I informed the service staff that we would like to order (the toilets were also very unhygienic and some of the doors on the cabins were broken) The service staff came and took our order and that of 4 other tables. We then ordered Federweisser and a portion of calamaris. The Federweisser was delicious so far. The calamaris were unfortunately only lukewarm, there was very little remoulade sauce on them and the lemon was missing. It's a lovely and cosy restaurant with an awesome variety of wines, good beers and tasty food. It's al reasonably priced and close to the city's hotspots.

The grill sausage was lukewarm and the bread too dry and the price way too high if you compare it to the same dish at other restaurant. One of my worst experiences based on quality and price.

The cleanliness was also absolutely appalling , especially under the current circumstances of Covid-19. It appeared as though the bathrooms hadn't been cleaned in at least a few days and there wasn't even soap to wash your hands. The Flammkuchen was okay however the rest of what our group ordered was verging on inedible. The steaks and schnitzels were awful. A majority of the staff could also not speak German, which was not looked kindly upon by the older German guests. If you would like to have a nice dining experience do not go here.
